We recognise how disappointing this news will be, particularly for customers who have already experienced a change to their original booking and sincerely apologise for the disruption caused.

No. We remain fully committed to opening Capital Theatre at Westfield London and bringing Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage to the new venue.

The current booking period from October 2026 will no longer proceed as scheduled. Revised dates for Dirty Dancing at Capital Theatre will be announced in due course.

Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage will play a limited West End season at the Prince Edward Theatre from January 2027.

This is an interim season while the opening of Capital Theatre is delayed, rather than a permanent replacement for the new venue.

If you booked directly with Capital Theatre, you have two options:

• Request a transfer to the Prince Edward Theatre season, where a suitable alternative is available.
• Receive a refund for your existing Capital Theatre booking.

You will receive an email containing a link to a response form where you can select your preferred option. Please complete this by 7 October 2026.

If you booked through a third-party ticket agent, your booking will be managed by your original agent. Please refer to the separate information for agent bookings below.

Yes. If you booked directly with Capital Theatre, you can request to transfer your existing booking to the Prince Edward Theatre season.

As an existing Capital Theatre ticket holder, you will have priority access to a reserved allocation of tickets across all performances of the Prince Edward Theatre season. These tickets will not be available to the general public during the transfer process.

Our Box Office team will work with you to identify a suitable alternative performance and seating area from this allocation, taking your preferences into account wherever possible.

All transfers are subject to availability, and specific performances or seating locations cannot be guaranteed.

We will aim to accommodate your preferred performance and seating area wherever possible, using the allocation reserved for existing Capital Theatre customers.

However, the Prince Edward Theatre has a different auditorium and seating configuration, so we cannot guarantee your exact seating preference or an identical replacement for your original booking.

Not necessarily. As the Prince Edward Theatre is a different venue, your new booking may not be an exact like-for-like exchange.

Performance dates, times, seating locations, venue facilities and any additional package inclusions may differ from your original Capital Theatre booking.

We will explain any relevant differences before your transfer is confirmed. If we are unable to offer a suitable alternative, you will have the option to receive a refund.

We recognise that some Capital Theatre bookings include additional experiences, such as VIP hospitality, food and beverage packages or other extras that may not be available in the same format at the Prince Edward Theatre.
